The Faculty of Geography at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and PT SJI have established a partnership regarding spatial studies, the demarcation of river boundaries, and land evaluation within the PT Shoenary Javanesia Inc area in Temanggung Regency, Central Java Province. This initiative is chaired by Prof. Drs. Projo Danoedoro, M.Sc., Ph.D. Discussions regarding the work and coordination took place on Friday, 24 April 2026 at the Faculty of Geography, UGM. Representatives from PT SJI were Alfan Nahareko and Gadira Ariasa, alongside representatives from the central management of the KMK Group. From the Faculty of Geography, the meeting was attended by Dr Nur Mohammad Farda, S.Si., M.Sc., from the Domestic Cooperation Unit, as well as experts and assistants involved in this collaboration.

This meeting served as a platform for synergy between industry and academia in formulating a comprehensive approach to spatial management, particularly within the operational area of PT Shoenary Javanesia Inc. The main focus of the discussion centred on the importance of data-driven approaches and scientific studies in every decision-making process relating to the environment and spatial planning.
