The Faculty of Geography at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) welcomed the initiative for cooperation from the Aceh Provincial Government. The Aceh Provincial Government’s Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) conducted exploratory talks on cooperation at the UGM Faculty of Geography on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. This cooperation will focus on strengthening human resource capacity through continuing education activities.
Discussions regarding future collaboration were held between a representative from BPSDM Aceh, Ms. Laila Musfira, S.Pd., M.A., and representatives from the Faculty of Geography, including the Chair of the Master’s Program in Remote Sensing, the Chair of the Master’s Program in Geography, the Head of the Domestic Cooperation Unit, and the Head of the International Cooperation Unit.
